Statement

 

Based in the far west of Cornwall I am an interdisciplinary artist and therapist.

 

 

 

As an artist I aim for a playful sense of adventure in my work. I like to explore what is under the surface, in our inner landscape and look at the unconscious.

 

 

My work has to feel congruent and honest and I need to have a deep emotional connection with it, which I aim to share with the viewer.

 

 

 

My previous practise has been diverse, having led me through many investigations including textiles, performance and more recently digital video.

 

 

I am currently drawn to photography and moving image and enjoy the qualities you achieve when you combine the two.
